Every year, all of the property owners in Volusia County receive a notice that tells them important value information about their parcel as well as the Taxing Authorities millage amounts proposed to fund their juristictions.

This form is part of the State of Florida's "Truth in Millage"(TRIM) legislation designed to keep the taxpayer informed of events that effect their property taxes.

It is arranges the information into three basic colunms that tell you what the taxes and millages were last year, what is proposed this year and what they would have been (based on revised assessments) if no new dollars were raised over last year's property Tax Revenue.
